We wanted to share the exciting news that Bware Labs is getting acquired by Alchemy!

Alchemy is the category leader in the Web3 infrastructure space, with world-class APIs, software development kits, and tooling to make it easier for developers to build decentralized applications. Alchemy also offers a rollups-as-a-service product to power app chains, as well as digital wallet solutions to enable users to access Web3 applications in just a few clicks without the friction of gas fees. Alchemy has some of the best investors in the world supporting them, a strong financial position with ample runway, and some of the top engineers and leadership in the industry. 

Joining forces allows us to continue building awesome products for developers while benefiting from Alchemy’s distribution. Alchemy runs a very similar business to ours but at a much larger scale. We consider this acquisition a huge milestone for Bware Labs and developers around the world!

Alchemy will be continuing to invest in our Romanian presence, and will be retaining the Bware Labs team members. We are proud to be bolstering Alchemy’s world-class engineering support across time zones, resulting in an even better customer experience.

In connection with the acquisition, we will be stepping away from our role as a core contributor of technology to the protocol supported by the $INFRA token, and the proxy that sends API requests to the protocol has been deprecated. If you participated in the testnet the related tokens will continue to vest, but you may cease your participation in the protocol as there will not be further rewards.

The $INFRA community is made up of many incredible members, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to have been part of the community. 

Our Blast API and Blockchain Validators businesses will continue to operate as they have been, and eventually will be integrated into the Alchemy product suite over the coming months. We look forward to continuing to provide our customers and partners with world-class products, services, and support.
